Pokémon HOME version 4.1.0 now supports the Nintendo Switch versions of Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen, allowing players to store Pokémon caught in these two games in HOME. This update is available for Switch, iOS, and Android users, and the storage limit for the paid Premium Plan has been increased from 6,000 to 9,000 Pokémon.
Transfers are one-way: Pokémon moved from Pokémon FireRed or Pokémon LeafGreen cannot be returned to those games, and Pokémon from other series titles cannot be transferred into these two games. Players should confirm whether they still intend to use these Pokémon in the original games before transferring them.
The Premium Plan now includes 3,000 additional storage slots at no extra cost. The update also adds content featuring Lapras that can be unlocked by completing the Pokédex, and ends support for 32-bit Android devices.
Compatibility with Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen was previously announced, and version 4.1.0 officially adds this feature to Pokémon HOME.
