Microsoft and NVIDIA mentioned in their joint event that the Call of Duty series will run on RTX Spark devices sometime in 2027. Modern PC versions of Call of Duty require the Ricochet anti-cheat system; for the series to run on these devices, Ricochet needs to support ARM64.
This also involves game compatibility issues on Windows on Arm devices. Many games can already run on such devices, but anti-cheat support is still in its early stages. Ricochet's current kernel-level anti-cheat support means players mainly play the modern PC versions of Call of Duty on systems with AMD or Intel processors.
The event used the Call of Duty series name without specifying a particular title. Therefore, it remains uncertain which new release will be supported first, and whether older titles using Ricochet will also receive support.
The only timeframe mentioned is 2027, with no specific release date announced. The list of games and the actual support for Ricochet on RTX Spark devices remain to be confirmed by future updates.
