Core Keeper will launch a limited-time free trial on Steam starting October 9. During the event, players can experience all content included in the full version, and save files created during the free period will carry over after purchasing the full game.
The event runs from 2:00 AM to 2:00 AM JST, October 9–13, 2026. This trial offers access to the full version's content, not just a separate demo level. Recent major updates, including animal riding and the grappling hook for underground exploration, are also available to try.
Developer Pugstorm and publisher Fireshine Games stated that players who purchase the full version can continue using their save files from the free trial, retaining their exploration and construction progress.
Core Keeper supports both single-player and online co-op for up to 8 players. Players can mine resources, build bases, craft equipment, explore various underground areas, and challenge massive bosses. The game also features farming, fishing, cooking, and pet raising.
