The open-world game "Ride the Wind" showcases gameplay centered around delivering packages using land and air vehicles. Players take on the role of a young person who inherits their uncle's courier business, personally delivering parcels while managing and expanding the operation. Developer Bloom & Gloom Games has confirmed that the game will first enter Steam Early Access, with a playable demo test scheduled beforehand.
The vehicles in the game combine features of motorcycles and aircraft, capable of traveling on both ground and air. The weight, size, and shape of cargo affect transportation, with excessive loads making it difficult for the vehicle to take off; players can upgrade their vehicles. Environmental conditions such as rain, lightning, and landslides may also hinder delivery missions.
Beyond deliveries, the game features aerial combat against cargo pirates. Players can also customize their living quarters or office, explore Santa Rosa Island—inspired by Italy—and meet the local residents. Its visual style has been compared by media outlets to Studio Ghibli animations, while some players have drawn parallels to the delivery gameplay of "Death Stranding" from the trailers.
Players can currently sign up for the demo test via the Steam page, though registration does not guarantee access. The developer stated that the game surpassed 50,000 wishlist adds in June 2026; an exact release date has not yet been announced.
