The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Switch 2 Unveiled, Joy-Con Features Pixel Link and Zelda

The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Switch 2 was recently unveiled at a media event. The console and accompanying Joy-Cons feature a dark green and gold color scheme with pixel character designs, offering a distinct look compared to the standard version.

The left Joy-Con features a pixel-art Link holding the Triforce, while the back of the right Joy-Con displays a pixel-art Princess Zelda. The analog sticks are gold; the console dock is black on top and gold on the bottom, with the Triforce symbol visible on the top surface.

A limited-edition design is also available for the Switch 2 Pro Controller, featuring a black, gold, and green color scheme on the front, with green extending to the upper button area and the back of the controller. However, this controller does not feature the small pixel character designs found on the Joy-Cons.

The console and controllers sold out quickly after pre-orders opened in September. Reports indicate that Nintendo has confirmed restocks will be available on launch day.
