New information about "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM ZERO" will be revealed at the New York Comic Con special event. The official Gundam YouTube channel, "Gundam Channel," will premiere a special program at 4:45 AM JST on October 9, allowing viewers who cannot attend in person to receive the information announced at the event.
Announced in November 2024, this work is positioned as a prequel to the theatrical film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM." The story connects the TV anime "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY" with the subsequent theatrical film.
The special event will also feature guest speakers introducing the work and discussing the future development of the Gundam franchise in Japan and overseas. Specific details to be announced have not yet been disclosed; the special program will broadcast the same information as the live special event.
