Capcom's Monster Hunter Rise, published by Netflix, is now available on Google Play and the App Store in regions including the Philippines. A Netflix subscription is required to play. This version features redesigned touch controls for phones and tablets, along with a new button that automatically selects recovery items.
The mobile version features tailored touch controls for each weapon type, with interface layouts optimized for various screen sizes and aspect ratios. At the time of announcement, this version had not yet launched in Taiwan, and release dates for other regions have not been disclosed.
The new recovery button automatically selects appropriate items from your inventory based on the hunter's health and status, reducing the need to manually search for recovery items during combat.
There are also changes to how quests are obtained: challenge quests and event quests, which previously required payment or were limited-time downloads, can now be unlocked as you progress through the game.
Core gameplay mechanics such as hunting, gathering materials, and crafting weapons and armor remain intact in the mobile version. Players can hunt solo or team up online with up to three other players.
