"Trails in the Sky the 1st" Continues Strong Sales; Nihon Falcom Raises Revenue Forecast to 4.3 Billion Yen

Nihon Falcom has once again raised its full-year earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026: revenue is projected at 4.3 billion yen, with both operating profit and ordinary profit expected to reach 2.8 billion yen, and net profit forecast at 1.9 billion yen. If these projections are met, revenue and all aforementioned profit figures will set new all-time highs for the company.

Compared to the previous forecast, revenue expectations have increased by 700 million yen, and operating profit expectations by 600 million yen. The company had already raised its forecasts in May due to strong sales of titles such as "Trails in the Sky the 1st," at which time revenue projections were increased from 2.6 billion yen to 3.6 billion yen, and operating profit projections from 1.3 billion yen to 2.2 billion yen.

The primary factors driving this further upward revision include the strong ongoing global sales of "Trails in the Sky the 1st," as well as the performance of "Trails in the Sky the 2nd," launched globally on September 17, and "Kyoto Phantom Capital: Sakura Phantom Dance," released in Japan and Asia on July 16.

Based on the revised forecast, Nihon Falcom's revenue for this fiscal year is expected to increase by 64.6% compared to the previous fiscal year's actual results, while operating profit is projected to rise by 108.9%.
