The development team Death Combination today announced that the narrative-driven dungeon adventure roguelike RPG "The Hero's Party Was Wiped Out." will be released on November 10, 2026.
"The Hero's Party Was Wiped Out." was previously delayed to further polish the game quality, but the final release date has now been announced. The game has surpassed 150,000 wishlists on Steam. To commemorate the release date announcement, a new trailer has been released. It showcases some illustrations and dungeon scenes from the full version.

In the demo, players can play up to the first boss, "The Exiled." All four companions available in the full version can be experienced. More information will be announced on the Steam store page, so please add it to your wishlist and wait patiently.

"The Hero's Party Was Wiped Out." is a narrative-driven roguelike game that tells the story of a group of flawed heroes on a long journey home. The game explores the price they paid for their flaws and how they resolve their issues with the protagonist's intervention.
You are the last survivor of a rescue team sent to find the missing Hero's party deep within a cursed dungeon. When you finally locate them, you discover:
The Hero—has lost the ability to speak.
The Mage—can no longer cast spells.
The Warrior—has lost their powerful physique.
...and the Priest—has lost ██.
You can only bring one of them out. Choose one as your companion and escape together.
Explore, battle, and rely on your companions
Choose your path and face enemies in turn-based card battles. Every item you carry becomes a card with limited uses. Enemies reveal their next move before acting. Your companions fight by your side: the Hero can withstand death, while the Priest possesses unmatched healing abilities.
Weapons are most deadly at the moment they shatter
You acquire new weapons by seizing equipment from enemies. Stun them, then use the weapon's last durability point to trigger a fatal blow—instantly killing the enemy and taking their gear. Each weapon is most powerful on its final use, so even when supplies are scarce, don't hesitate to use up its durability for that strongest strike.
Bad luck? Consume a curse and start over.
Every broken item leaves behind a curse, giving you a chance to defy fate. Had bad luck and got the worst outcome? Consume a curse, and the misfortune disappears. If you die, you restart from the floor where you fell. Stored curses can be crafted into items you need, with the remainder turning into experience. Each death makes you stronger for the next journey.

Each conversation brings you closer to understanding your companions—their secrets and what truly happened to the party back then. Trust, suspicion, or reliance depends on your feelings—and the ending changes accordingly. Each route is a complete, standalone story.
