Pre-orders for RTX Spark laptops are now open, with a release date set for October 16, 2026. Listed prices range from approximately $2,600 to $7,000, representing a price difference of about $4,400 between configurations.
These laptops are powered by Arm-based Nvidia N1X processors. The listed variants include a 20-core model with 6,144 CUDA cores and an 18-core model with 5,120 CUDA cores. Unified memory ranges from 24GB to 128GB, but since it is soldered onto the motherboard, it cannot be upgraded after purchase.
The entry-level Microsoft Surface Ultra features an 18-core N1X processor, 24GB of unified memory, and a 512GB SSD, priced at around $2,600; the 64GB version costs approximately $4,300. The Asus ProArt P16's 64GB model is priced at about $4,500, while the version with 128GB of unified memory and a 2TB SSD reaches $7,000.
For local computing tasks on these machines, PC Gamer considers large-capacity memory to be particularly crucial. They expressed reservations about whether the entry-level 24GB configuration will meet long-term needs, noting that gaming performance still requires further testing.
