Santa Sunrise Inc. (Minato, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kenya Okubo) has announced that the Steam store page and first trailer for Laica, a new PC (Steam) title currently in development by its game studio "Santa Studio," are now live.
The Steam store page is now open for wishlists. The game features Japanese voice acting and plans to support Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese subtitles and UI. It is scheduled for release in 2027.
Laika is a first-person 3D survival horror game. You will live with Laika, a mysterious girl residing on a space station, explore a dark world where alien monsters roam, and advance the story of your relationship with her.
Developed by Santa Studio and published by ambr Inc., the creators of gogh: Focus with Your Avatar. This is ambr's first title as a publisher.

About Laica
You awaken in "HOME," a residential facility floating in space. There, you meet a girl named "Laika" who lives there alone.
Share meals, listen to music, go on adventures, and sometimes float together in zero gravity, spending time that belongs only to the two of you.
However, behind the calm daily life, a change eroding the entire universe is quietly spreading. Return from exploring the dangerous dark world, then spend everyday moments with Laika. The more you travel between these two worlds, the more the anomaly seeps into your once-peaceful shared life.
