The unofficial native port of Grand Theft Auto V for the original Nintendo Switch has been canceled, and the game was never officially released through this project. After Take-Two reportedly issued a cease-and-desist order to the development team, the group decided to disband.
The initiative was led by mod author M0jso through Paralympics Productions, with the goal of running the game natively on the original Switch hardware, rather than via cloud streaming or PC emulation. The team used the game's source code, which was leaked publicly in late 2023.
On September 10, 2026, Rockstar updated its policies to explicitly prohibit unauthorized ports of its titles to other consoles. M0jso had previously provoked Rockstar on social media. According to reports, about three days later, the team's Discord server was deleted due to copyright issues, Take-Two subsequently issued a cease-and-desist order, and the porting project was canceled.
In a developer statement, M0jso announced that Paralympics Productions would shut down on October 3. He apologized to supporters and stated that this marked the final end of the project.
