Pre-orders are now open for the 20th Anniversary Timer Watch celebrating the TV anime "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya." The watch's date display loops between the 17th and the 31st, with each model limited to 2,006 pieces. Released by Touei Company, the watch comes in two designs: Haruhi Suzumiya and Yuki Nagato. Both are priced at 29,700 JPY (tax included) and will be available for pre-order on the official Fulton Japan online store starting October 8, 2026, with shipping expected in late March 2027.
The looping calendar echoes the "Endless Eight" arc from the series, bringing the anime's time-loop narrative to life on the watch's date display. The date window at the 4 o'clock position cycles from the 17th to the 31st, then displays an "∞" symbol before returning to the 17th, repeating this cycle to precisely recreate that memorable classic episode. Two small diamonds are also set into the dial, commemorating the 20th anniversary milestone.
Beyond the calendar function, the watch incorporates numerous elements from the series in its details: the second hand is shaped like the SOS Brigade emblem, and the sub-dial at the 9 o'clock position features a map with an "H"-shaped hand rotating continuously over it. The dial is scattered with mathematical formulas, physics symbols, and benzene rings, reflecting the series' atmosphere of blending supernatural phenomena into everyday life. Each watch comes with two interchangeable straps (metal and leather), and the case back is engraved with the 20th-anniversary logo, a limited edition number, and a Japanese movement identifier.
