"Cable Management Simulator" Steam Store Page Now Live, Planned for Q4 Release

Independent studio Coldspire Studios announced Cable Management Simulator on October 8, along with its Steam store page. The game summarizes the scale of cabling by connecting 3,072 ports, allowing players to work at their own pace. It is scheduled to launch on PC via Steam in Q4 2026.

The game is set in a quiet server room. Players need to cut cables of different colors to the required length and connect them to ports on server equipment to configure the building's network environment. A printer on the desk continuously outputs work instructions, but players can ignore them temporarily and aren't required to follow them strictly; there is no time pressure or failure state in the game.

You'll still get paid for completing tasks, which can be used to purchase faster tools, different cables, and other items. The game features 20 types of cables, and players can unlock special cable varieties and color codes.
