Netmarble announced that Seven Deadly Sins: Origin received an update on October 8, adding the hero Lancelot and Main Story Chapter 17, "Heart of Water." The new chapter takes place in Goltin Village, where Tristan investigates a spreading petrification disaster and a stolen relic.
Lancelot, the son of Ban and Elaine, can wield staves, longswords, and gauntlets. Staves deal Holy attribute damage, with his Ultimate skill increasing Holy damage under specific conditions; Longswords handle physical attacks, boosting damage after perfect charge; Gauntlets help recharge the team's Alternate Gauge and enhance Earth attribute allies.
Players can obtain Lancelot through the featured recruitment event running until October 28, or participate in the character trial event. A special costume recruitment for Lancelot is also available during this period.
This update also adds "Beyond" difficulty to the "Drake, King of the Sky Dragons" boss challenge, along with limited-time events such as login rewards and block quests. The returning 15-player boss battle event will open on October 14.
