Dragon Nest: Classic, operated by Gamania, launched its first major update on October 8, bringing back the "Mechanic" class and the level 40 raid "Sea Dragon Nest." Originally released in 2010, Dragon Nest Classic is based on the game's early settings.
The Mechanic can use cannons and summons for ranged attacks. Upon reaching level 15, the character can advance into either the "Mechanic Summoner," which focuses on area damage, or the "Alchemist," which offers supportive abilities. The update also includes exclusive quests for new characters and events where veteran players guide lower-level newcomers through specific dungeons.
The returning Sea Dragon Nest retains its classic challenges while adding a nest segmentation system. Players can challenge the "Outer Area" and "Core" separately, or opt for the "Classic" mode to complete the dungeon from start to finish.
This update also introduces progression systems such as Mastery Skills, General Skills, and S-Rank Equipment Evolution, along with clear rewards, limited-time bonuses, and streamer speedrun events.
