On October 7 local time, Yerlan Karim, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, met with the core creative team of an international film project, including Chinese actor Jackie Chan and Kazakh producers.
According to reports, both sides discussed international cooperation in the film industry and the possibility of jointly implementing film projects in the future during the talks. Karim noted that President Tokayev of Kazakhstan places great importance on the development of new technologies and creative industries, and is committed to creating conditions for citizens to unleash their creative potential.
He stated that implementing such large-scale international projects in Kazakhstan helps promote the development and professionalization of the country's film industry, while also enhancing Kazakhstan's appeal as an international destination for film and television production.
Reportedly, at the conclusion of the talks, Karim thanked Jackie Chan for his longstanding friendship with Kazakhstan and wished all participants in the project greater achievements in their future creative endeavors.
It is reported that the legendary series "Armour of God: Ultimate," featuring Jackie Chan, is currently being filmed in Kazakhstan. Jackie Chan reprises his role as Asian Hawk. In the new installment, the protagonist will embark on a quest to find an ancient artifact.
