In the Swiss Stage Elimination Group of the League of Legends Demacia Cup Global Invitational, FlyQuest defeated Shopify Rebellion 2-1, securing a spot in the fourth-round tiebreaker. The group consisted of three teams with 0-2 records, with only one team able to advance.
The group used a round-robin format, with each match played as a best-of-three. FlyQuest first defeated GAM 2-0, with the two games lasting 22 and 26 minutes respectively. Subsequently, GAM lost 0-2 to Shopify Rebellion, failing to win a single game in the group. This meant the advancement spot would be decided directly between FlyQuest and Shopify Rebellion.
When the two teams previously met during the LCS Summer Playoffs, Shopify Rebellion prevented FlyQuest from competing for a spot at the 2026 World Championship. In this encounter, FlyQuest won the first game, but Shopify Rebellion fought back to take the second. FlyQuest secured victory in the decisive final game thanks to superior laning, gold advantages, and teamfight performance; Gryffinn played Shyvana, recording 6 kills, 0 deaths, and 7 assists.
FlyQuest will next face Red Canids in a match to determine the Demacia Cup playoff spot. The other matchup in this stage features NAVI taking on JDG.
