Oxalis Games' "Moonfrost" will launch its PC Early Access version on Steam on October 13, 2026, at 14:00 JST, with a listed price of 1,900 JPY (tax included). This slow-life RPG centers around a village severely damaged by a meteor storm, where players will gradually rebuild their home.
Players take on the role of a "Frost Hunter," harnessing the power of a mysterious second moon in the sky and fallen meteorites to build their village. Daily activities include harvesting crops, fishing, gathering materials, cooking, and tending to livestock, with detailed customization available for buildings, fields, and interior furnishings.
During the rebuilding process, players can accept quests from villagers to help revive the village and strengthen relationships; some of these bonds can even develop into romantic connections.
Beyond the village lies a larger map to explore, along with challenges involving hidden ancient shrines, giving players adventure goals alongside their management and lifestyle gameplay.
The game features pixel art animation and presents a fantasy world through music and dynamic changes in time and weather. Currently, only the Early Access plans have been announced.
