On October 9, Assemble Entertainment announced that two Leisure Suit Larry series games developed by CrazyBunch would be removed from sale on Steam on October 23. Earlier entries in the series had already been delisted from Steam in 2025, making these two the last remaining titles available on the platform at that time.
The Leisure Suit Larry series began with its first title released by Sierra On-Line in 1987, centering on the story of Larry. The news of this delisting was posted on the Steam News page, but the announcement did not provide detailed reasons.
At the time, the two games were priced at 3,499 yen and 3,600 yen respectively on Steam Japan. Links on the store pages pointing to Steam News were labeled with promotional information offering up to 95% off until October 23, but at the time of writing, the relevant promotions had not yet begun. Neither game supports Japanese.
The farewell message in the announcement stated that Larry's future cannot be revealed at this time. Apart from indicating that these two games are expected to remain on sale until October 23, the announcement did not clarify the series' subsequent plans.
