Publisher Gamirror Games and developer Thekla have announced the official release of Sunless Loom, a puzzle-adventure game led by Jonathan Blow, now available on PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5. According to the official announcement, the game features over 1,000 handcrafted puzzles.
Blow previously worked on The Witness and Braid. In Sunless Loom, players will explore four worlds, each with distinct mechanics, characters, and stories. As the worlds gradually merge, characters will meet, and the previously separate puzzle systems will intertwine.
The game areas feature a non-linear, open, and interconnected design, allowing players to travel between or leave different regions at their own pace, uncovering the story through exploration, notes, and voice narration.
The PC version is priced at 98 CNY in mainland China, with prices in the Hong Kong and Taiwan regions at 148 HKD and 561 TWD respectively. Three bundle packs offering a 10% discount are also available at launch, paired with Meow Mew Mix, Animal Well, or the game's original soundtrack.
The game features a full voice cast, including actors such as Emily O’Brien and Liam O’Brien. It has been officially confirmed that Chinese voice acting will be added post-launch, expected within one month.
