Pokémon and skateboard brand Santa Cruz have announced a new round of Pokémon Trading Card Game-themed skateboard blind bags, scheduled for release on October 17. The products will be available through the Santa Cruz website and retailers.
The two parties previously launched Pokémon-themed skateboards in 2023. This time, the deck designs are based on card artwork from throughout the history of the trading card game, including early Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur cards, as well as the Umbreon card from the Evolving Skies series.
This round of skateboards includes 30 standard deck designs and 3 special editions. The special editions feature multiple cards from the same series on a single deck, with the card artwork printed in different languages; a total of 500 units will be produced across the three special editions. Santa Cruz has not yet announced the production quantity for the standard editions.
In addition to skateboards, the collaboration will also feature T-shirts and hoodies printed with a Pokémon card-themed Santa Cruz logo. These apparel items will not use the card artwork featured on the skateboards.
