On October 8, SNK announced a collaboration between Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and Tekken 8, releasing a teaser on YouTube. It is currently confirmed that the two fighting games will collaborate, though specific details have yet to be revealed.
Around the 20-second mark of the trailer, a character silhouette appears in the shadow of the building behind Rock Howard. Since the footage does not clearly reveal their identity, users on YouTube, official social media accounts, and Reddit have speculated that this might be Reina from Tekken 8, discussing whether she will join the roster later. This remains purely speculation and cannot be taken as confirmation of Reina's participation.
The crossover trailer also featured the phrase "Fate Intertwined," but did not reveal the specific form of collaboration. On the same day, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves separately released a character teaser for its collaboration with the anime Tokyo Revengers, introducing Manjiro Sano and Ken Ryuguji, and stated that their stories would be added to the Arcade Mode and Single-player RPG Mode.
