Publisher Gamirror Games announced today that the suspenseful narrative game "The Mob," developed by Nanzhai Games, will officially launch on Steam in March 2027.
Since the demo launched in July 2025, it has received overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam, boasting a 98% approval rating from over 2,600 player reviews, thanks to its unique cultural backdrop, gripping storyline, dynamic panel presentations, and meticulously crafted artwork.

The story takes place in Wushan County, a fictional ceramic town in the Minnan region.
A large Maitreya Buddha statue has stood in the area since ancient times, surrounded by various legends. In 2009, the "Maitreya" suddenly vanished without warning.
Players return to one month before the disappearance of the "Maitreya," following six characters with different identities and backgrounds. From their diverse perspectives, they explore the small town and gradually uncover secrets hidden within interpersonal relationships and local folklore.
Their fates intertwine around the disappearance of the "Maitreya," all pointing to a central mystery: Where did the "Maitreya" go?
