The PC demo for "Apocalypse Guns" is now available on Steam, with the game scheduled for release within 2026. This first-person shooter action game, which incorporates Souls-like design principles, emphasizes observing monster weaknesses and using ammunition cautiously. The demo allows players to experience its core combat mechanics.
Set in a post-apocalyptic Western wasteland, the world was shaped with the involvement of Art Director Viktor Antonov. Players take on the role of an ordinary person struggling to survive in a dangerous environment, facing monsters with a Colt revolver. Different characteristics of firearms, ammunition, and enemies all influence combat choices.
In combat, players can adjust ammunition types to target enemy weaknesses, combining parries, dashes, and mystical abilities to deal with foes; when facing journeys too difficult to handle alone, they can call upon partners. This demo opens up a portion of the game world and includes a boss battle.
The development team stated that they adjusted the enemy lineup in the demo to allow players to experience more combat content and a wider variety of enemies. Some enemies present in the demo's corresponding areas will not appear in the full release, so the enemy distribution in the demo does not reflect the final game's arrangement.
