EA and Battlefield Studios have launched the in-game "Celebrate Year One" event as the first anniversary of Battlefield 6 approaches. The login rewards for the event have sparked dissatisfaction among some players.
The currently listed rewards include two 15-minute XP boosts, two player cards, and three weapons. These three weapons can also be unlocked by completing challenges.
Some players feel the anniversary event is too simplistic, particularly dissatisfied with the rewards. Some have described it in the game community as dismissive of supporters; another comment comparing it to free-to-game celebration events received hundreds of upvotes. Other community members hope to receive in-game store currency so they can choose items themselves.
These rewards can be claimed until October 13. At that time, Battlefield 6's Season 4 will end and Season 5 will begin.
