Clay Stone, Associate Production Director for World of Warcraft: Infinite, stated that the previously discussed GDKP raid ban applies only to North America and Europe, while other regions will still allow GDKP. He noted that this policy is similar to the approach taken with the Season of Discovery and Anniversary servers. Vice President and Executive Producer Holly Longdale also participated in the interview.
The team has also received feedback from some players regarding the new Celestial Elf race, noting that the existing high-definition models appear out of place in standard-resolution environments. Stone stated that standard-resolution models are currently in development and are expected to be released after the game's official launch.
Regarding adjustments to dungeon quest experience during the Beta test, the team wants players to explore the world, complete quests, and interact with others while leveling up, rather than staying in dungeons from level 1 to 60. Relevant values will continue to be fine-tuned during testing.
On the server side, the team hopes that large servers will still allow players to repeatedly encounter familiar faces. Cross-region play will not be available at launch, and matchmaking within the same region will be arranged based on the player's selected language.
The team plans to continuously add new zones, dungeons, raids, and quests, while keeping the level cap at 60.
