Fans have ported the Zombies mode from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops to a browser-based version. Players can enjoy all ten maps from the original mode in single-player for free, without needing to install the base game.
This version also includes assets from expansion content, aiming to recreate the core gameplay loop of holding off zombie hordes and progressively unlocking map areas, while offering settings close to those of the original game.
Currently, it only supports single-player, with no co-op or split-screen functionality. Players looking to team up with friends to fight zombies won't be able to experience the original cooperative gameplay through this version.
In terms of performance, most maps are playable, but frame rates may drop when large hordes of zombies appear; some browsers are particularly unstable without additional configuration. If you encounter lag, try enabling hardware acceleration or GPU usage in your browser settings, though actual performance will still depend on your browser and device.
