On the technical side, the patch adds DLSS-G support, allowing the PC version to precompile shaders at launch and improving performance when using DLSS, FSR, and XeSS, while optimizing CPU and GPU performance across all maps. The update also enhances stability on Xbox Series S and fixes crashes that may occur on specific AMD hardware, in Story Mode, during execution animations, and when using Quick Resume on Xbox Series X|S.

The development team stated that as players become more familiar with the core gameplay loop, they want to reduce the frequency of quickly completing objectives. With the update, the detection distance for escape locations changes based on match time, the spawn rate of certain escape items has been reduced, and the escape capacity of cellars and gates has been adjusted. The thresholds for Bloodlust levels have been increased, while stealth observation and executions now contribute more significantly to Bloodlust growth.

Melee changes aim to reduce the frequency of ordinary players getting stuck in repeated stun locks after taking consecutive hits. The patch also adjusts how hidden targets are tracked in the late game and fixes issues with challenge progress, trophy tracking, character display, and scene interactions.
