After the announcement of Marvel's new series 'Zodiac,' fans speculate a connection to 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

After Marvel announced the new series "Zodiac," some fans speculated that it might be related to "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Clark Gregg, who portrayed Phil Coulson, shared news about the new series on social media, which was one of the reasons that sparked speculation.

漫威新剧《十二宫》公布后,粉丝猜测其与《神盾局特工》有关

Marvel Television head Brad Winderbaum described "Zodiac" as a spy thriller at New York Comic Con and stated that clues pointing to future directions are hidden in the series' title design. He did not explain the specific meaning of the clues. Some fans believe that the letter design in the logo resembles the S.H.I.E.L.D. emblem, leading them to associate it with the return of the old series or the reappearance of characters.

In the comics, "Zodiac" is a criminal organization whose members are named after zodiac signs. Coulson last appeared in the finale of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." in 2020; there is currently no confirmed news that he will star in "Zodiac," nor is it certain whether the two series have a plot connection. Brad Winderbaum stated that casting for the new series is expected to begin in a few weeks.
