Whether GTA 6 will launch on Switch 2 remains uncertain. In response to this question, Nintendo stated that it is up to Take-Two and Rockstar Games to discuss; whether the Switch 2 can run the game, and whether Rockstar will release a corresponding version, also remain unanswered.
Nintendo of America President Devon Pritchard recently discussed the company's theme parks, as well as its first-party and third-party game plans. With the launch of Switch 2, some third-party titles that had not previously appeared on Nintendo consoles have new possibilities, sparking discussion about GTA 6's platform availability.
The discussion noted that Switch 2 is capable of running versions of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. However, this does not indicate that there are plans to port GTA 6. Current information also provides no details on the development progress or release schedule for a Switch 2 version of the game.
