The first-person steampunk RPG Clockwork Revolution is scheduled to launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2027, arriving day one on Game Pass. A specific release date has not yet been announced.
Developed by inXile Entertainment and published by Xbox Game Studios, this title is currently listed among the upcoming Xbox console exclusives following Gears of War: E-Day. However, the actual release order may change if other eligible games secure earlier launch dates.
The game is set in Avalon, a city with a Victorian-era aesthetic. Players will create a character named Morgan Vanette and, after discovering that Lady Ironwood has manipulated the city's history, use a device called the Chronometer to travel back in time, alter key events, and observe how these choices impact the present.
The game aims to let player decisions influence characters, relationships, and the state of the city, while blending time manipulation with combat mechanics. Previous Xbox Games Showcase presentations revealed the cast of characters and the various factions within the city.
