Sales data for major markets including Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox in September 2026, tracked by Ampere Analysis, shows that the tactical shooter "War Dogs," developed by Bulkhead Interactive, topped the PC sales chart for the month. Across all platforms combined, only "EA Sports FC 27" outsold "War Dogs."
Cumulative sales for "War Dogs" since its launch recently surpassed 3 million copies. "Blood of Dawnwalkers," an RPG developed by Rebel Wolves, also entered the top five in all-platform sales for September, with nearly 2 million copies sold last month.
Regarding other titles on the chart, "Halloween: The Game" was particularly popular on Xbox Series X/S, while the "Marvel Wolverine" and "EA Sports FC" series also demonstrated strong sales performance.
Console sales figures come from Nielsen IQ's UK market data: between August 23 and September 26, 125,000 game consoles were sold in the UK, a 78% increase from August and approximately 10% higher than the same period last year. PlayStation 5 led sales, followed by Switch 2 and Xbox.
