War Dogs Season 2 is scheduled to launch on October 15, 2026, at which point in-game currency will be reset. The new season will also introduce weapons, vehicles, rain and thunderstorm weather, as well as a wagering mechanic with player-defined objectives.
In terms of weapons, the main classes will each receive the TCX Spear, M14, PP-19 Bizon, and Evo-3 Ultra, along with attachments such as sights, muzzle devices, and foregrips. New vehicles include the standard and assault variants of the Wolf-110 wheeled transport, the T-72 tank, and the Flakpanzer Gepard anti-aircraft vehicle.
Base building will add machine gun emplacements, large cover structures, and wooden stairs. The weather system will introduce rain and thunderstorms; thunder may mask movement sounds or lighter gunfire, affecting player observation and engagements.
The base will also feature a Wager Vendor. Players can place bets on self-selected objectives such as kills or capturing towers; adding more objectives increases potential rewards but also raises the difficulty of completion. War Dogs is currently in Early Access.
