EB Games Canada has announced that its flagship store at 267 Yonge Street in Toronto, Canada, will open a permanent Nintendo section on October 17, 2026. The company states that this will be the first permanent Nintendo space of its kind located within a retail store in North America.
The section covers approximately 1,500 square feet and will feature Nintendo Switch 2 games and hardware, along with a playable demo area for customers. The store will also include themed displays, merchandise, and photo spots, bringing demos, hardware showcases, and sales together in one space.
The section will also sell My Mario series merchandise, with some items available exclusively in Canada through this section. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for the opening day.
