Good Smile Company has re-released the Nendoroid based on Sadako, the character from the horror film "The Ring." Pre-orders for this reissue are now open on its official US store, priced at $54.99, with pre-orders closing on November 11.
This pre-order comes with a TV static screen accessory, allowing you to recreate scenes from the movie. The figure includes two interchangeable face parts, one of which shows Sadako with her eyes wide open; other accessories include a small well and a VHS tape. The well can also be combined with the figure's hand poses to recreate the scene of Sadako crawling out of the well.
For price comparison, the resale price of the original version on eBay can reach around $200. This is just a resale market example mentioned in the article, not a fixed selling price.
The estimated arrival time listed on the US store page is between April 1 and June 30 next year. This round of pre-orders for the Sadako Nendoroid will therefore miss this year's Halloween.
