Finn Jones Reveals Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 Will Introduce Heroes for Hire Storyline

In an exclusive interview with GamesRadar+ at New York Comic Con, Finn Jones revealed that he and an old partner might join forces to conduct business in Daredevil: Born Again. The third and final season of this Disney+ series will reunite him with his former teammates from The Defenders, including Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, and Luke Cage, played by Mike Colter. What excites fans the most is the prospect of Jones and Colter sharing the screen again—finally offering hope for the classic duo, "Heroes for Hire," to make their appearance.

This superhero reunion, nearly a decade in the making, has finally come to fruition. Jones discussed the feeling of returning to the street-level hero team and fighting side by side. He also casually dropped a hint that the long-awaited duo of Luke and Danny will appear in some form in the new season.

Jones remarked, "It's a strange feeling. I've never been on a set like this before, where the chemistry between the actors feels so natural and the interactions between the characters flow so smoothly. This bond is truly special; the Defenders are one of a kind." Of course, with Matt behind bars, Danny and Luke will have to step up to protect New York, while Jessica will most likely be rolling her eyes at them endlessly—exactly the kind of scene fans are eager to see. Jones also hinted, "The more deeply the official content explores this aspect, the more satisfied fans will be, as it's what they've been anticipating all along. Especially regarding the characters played by Mike and me, and the Heroes for Hire storyline. I know everyone is looking forward to seeing this, and we might get a glimpse of it in Daredevil Season 3."

Fans have long hoped to see Luke and Danny officially establish "Heroes for Hire, Inc." in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Founded by the two superhero friends in 1978, the agency provides security and investigation services for a fee. Its clientele has included figures such as Tony Stark and even Doctor Doom—the latter once tried to scam Luke out of $20,000, only to be thoroughly beaten up by Luke in return. The company has operated for many years, with other heroes joining to provide services, including Scott Lang as Ant-Man, Ghost Rider, and Spider-Man.

How much screen time Heroes for Hire will have in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 remains unknown. Will we see Luke and Danny staking out and monitoring Wilson Fisk's (played by Vincent D'Onofrio) movements for extended periods? Will Luke deliver his iconic line, "Where's my money, sweetheart?" in any episode? All answers will be revealed when the series returns next year.
