NC, the developer of Aion 2, announced restrictions on 4,996 accounts involved in violations. These include the use of macros, bots, or other unauthorized programs, as well as organized gold farming, real-money trading activities, and abnormal transactions that disrupt the game's economy.
NC stated that these restrictions were implemented after review in accordance with operational policies. The company will continue to monitor in-game activities and the service environment. Normal gameplay is not targeted by these measures; even if players engage in repetitive grinding for extended periods, they will not be restricted as long as their behavior constitutes normal gameplay.
Additionally, a small number of accounts were temporarily secured with safety locks due to device access patterns indicating potential theft risks. NC clarified that safety locks are preventive measures to protect accounts and items, not penalties; these accounts are not included in the aforementioned 4,996 accounts restricted for violations.
Players affected by security locks or who believe their accounts were mistakenly banned can contact customer support.
