On October 11, some players of Gears of War: E-Day encountered connection and save synchronization issues again. Logging into online mode took significantly longer, and sync errors could also occur when loading campaign saves.
The Coalition became aware of the situation earlier that day and subsequently stated via the Gears of War community account that the login issues had been resolved and that they would continue to monitor the service. However, numerous reports of failures emerged on social media and other channels afterward. Players were unable to access online mode, and campaign saves failed to load due to synchronization errors.
On PC, foreign media outlet MP1st successfully loaded their campaign saves via offline mode, but some users still reported that the campaign failed to load, meaning offline play wasn't effective for all players. At the time of publication, The Coalition had not issued a new statement regarding the recurring issues.
