Devon Pritchard, President of Nintendo of America, stated that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remaster has been well-received in Brazil, and the company expects to gradually offer more Zelda series 40th Anniversary special edition products locally. She noted that players are still seeking special edition consoles and other anniversary items.
Pritchard also highlighted Portuguese language support as a key initiative for expanding into the Brazilian market. According to the data she provided, two-thirds of Nintendo's first-party games released since the launch of the Switch 2 have been translated into Portuguese. She acknowledged there is still room for improvement and stated that the company plans to continue advancing in this area over the coming years.
Discussing the local market, Pritchard stated that Brazil is one of the top ten video game markets globally. Nintendo of America has been continuously expanding its operations in Brazil over the past six years and hopes to continue building connections with local players.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remaster is scheduled for release on November 5, 2026; the Zelda-themed Switch 2 console and accompanying Pro Controller are set to launch on October 29, with two additional amiibo figures planned for release in 2027.
