Thirty Years: Deepening the Sky
In 1995, the first ACE COMBAT title was released, establishing the series' unique flight shooter style with its thrilling experience of free flight and shooting down enemies. As the series evolved, its aerial combat mechanics, storytelling, and musical expression continued to deepen. Music became more than just background for battles; it grew into a crucial element for shaping characters, driving the plot, and enhancing the atmosphere of the battlefield.
Over the past thirty years, from high-speed pursuits amidst engine roars to tense standoffs during turning points in battle, and finally to the lingering resonance of the story's finale, ACE COMBAT has used music to connect each sortie and choice, giving the stories that unfolded in virtual skies a more distinct emotional weight.
With the arrival of the latest title, ACE COMBAT 8, this thirty-year flight journey is ushering in a new chapter. This anniversary concert will focus on the series' classic music, using a live symphony orchestra to showcase the unique aerial combat atmosphere and musical charm of ACE COMBAT.
