Tripwire Interactive has launched the "Ghastly Getaway" Halloween event update for Killing Floor 3, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This is the game's first seasonal Halloween event: festive decorations will remain until November 5th, while the new "Haunted Hotel" map will be permanently added.
The "Haunted Hotel" is located in a city in Romania, with its map story revolving around a failed ritual. Players will battle bio-engineered monsters across the hotel's multi-level spaces while watching out for the risk of falling from heights.
During the event, common enemies and the boss, Dr. Morkroft, will don classic horror movie monster costumes. After the event ends, these versions may still appear on the "Haunted Hotel" map.
The update also introduces the Halloween Supply Pass, featuring both free and premium tracks with a total of 208 rewards, including themed cosmetics, decorations, stickers, and profile cards. The store also offers seasonal items such as skeleton outfits and pumpkin masks.
In addition to the festive content, this update adds a one-handed pistol variant for the Gunslinger class, new daily challenges, weekly wave adjustments, and main menu music, along with bug fixes and gameplay tweaks.
