The final trailer for the movie Godzilla Minus One has been released, with the story set in 1949, two years after the previous film. After enduring the disasters of war and Godzilla, Japan is in a phase of recovery, but the prospect of returning to a peaceful life is once again under threat.
The film is directed and written by Takashi Yamazaki. The trailer opens with narration from Dr. Ogata, played by Kunimura Jun, who speaks of a patient who should not have survived. This line may be related to the events at the end of the previous film.
The trailer then shows floating houses, along with roars and attack methods different from Godzilla's. Bahamut interprets these details as clues that another monster may appear; the trailer has not yet confirmed the identity of the new monster.
Godzilla Minus One will be released in Japan on November 3 this year and in North America on November 6.
