DroidDeck is designed for Android phones, aiming to allow compatible Windows versions of Steam games to be downloaded and run locally on the device without relying on PC streaming. In tests on the REDMAGIC 11 Pro, Cyberpunk 2077 reached approximately 60 frames per second.
The app's interface draws inspiration from the Steam Deck, making it easy for users to browse and launch PC games on their phones. It uses Proton and FEX to handle software execution, and supports upscaling and frame generation; the effectiveness of these features varies depending on the game, hardware, and settings.
The same REDMAGIC 11 Pro was also tested with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. At 720p resolution, the game achieved a frame rate close to 60 frames per second.
The aforementioned frame rates correspond to specific devices, games, and settings, and do not mean that all Steam games can achieve the same performance on ordinary Android phones. Compatibility, phone performance, graphics settings, playtime, device temperature, and software version can all affect actual results.
