Free Rhythm Game "Sign the Contract and Become a Magical Girl to the Beat!" Features Transformation via Beat-Based Controls

The rhythm game "Sign the Contract to Become a Magical Girl to the Beat!" is now available for free. Centered around the theme of magical girl transformations, the game requires players to perform actions in time with the beat to complete the transformation. Developed by indie developer SOUSE, it was released for free on the unityroom platform starting October 5, 2026. Players take on the role of a fairy responsible for forming contracts with girls, completing a series of transformation actions in sync with the musical beats.

The game also features cute illustrations. The core gameplay revolves around 8 rhythm points distributed around the girl. Players must tap according to the rhythm pattern corresponding to the "charm" they hold. Each successful hit gradually forms the girl's outfit piece by piece—starting from the head, upper body, lower body, and finally shoes. The contract is only established once all four parts are completed. Upon finishing the transformation, the originally monochrome black-and-white girl instantly transforms into a vibrant magical girl, with her hairstyle and expression changing depending on the charm used.

In addition to the basic rhythm gameplay, the game features a preference system and route selection mechanics. Each girl has her preferred type of charm, which players can check in advance via dialogue bubbles. Whether you prioritize catering to their preferences or using rhythms you're skilled at directly affects your final score. Branching routes are interspersed between contract battles, where you can acquire new charms, items, or restore magic power; different choices will alter the progression of subsequent stages. At the end of the route awaits a "girl who absolutely does not want to become a magical girl." During the boss battle, contract turns and rejection turns alternate, with the girl throwing out numerous rejection bubbles. Players must accurately identify the correct rhythm amidst the interference.
