Ben Affleck stated that Kevin Feige had not contacted him about reprising the role of Daredevil. He said he hoped Feige would reach out but remained reserved about starring in another superhero film. Affleck played the character in the 2003 film Daredevil, while Matt Murdock in current Marvel productions is primarily portrayed by Charlie Cox.
Affleck was asked on Josh Horowitz's show whether Feige had ever contacted him about Daredevil. He clearly answered no and expressed his hope that Feige would reach out. When discussing whether he would continue to play superhero roles, he stated that he had already made such films and wasn't sure if there was anything particularly interesting left for him to do in the genre. He also praised Feige.
Affleck has since also played Batman. As for whether he will once again portray Daredevil, the interview confirmed only that the two parties have not yet discussed it, and he himself has not committed to making another superhero movie.
