Hidden codes have recently been discovered in F-Zero GX, released in 2003, marking 23 years since its launch. These codes are said to unlock F-Zero AX vehicles and event content within the game. The discovery was initially shared by players on X.
F-Zero GX originally contained tracks and vehicles from the arcade version, F-Zero AX. In the past, players typically had to meet challenging conditions or link an arcade cabinet with a GameCube memory card to access this content. The newly discovered codes are said to provide an alternative way to unlock them.
These codes are also said to unlock custom car parts that were previously distributed during events. However, some of the codes require four controllers to be connected and inputs to be entered simultaneously on all four, making the process quite complex.
Current reports suggest that the codes work on both the original GameCube version and the GameCube classic games available through Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
