Publisher tinyBuild and developer Mandragora announced that the electronics repair shop simulation game "Repair Shop Story" is scheduled to launch on Android via Google Play in 2026. The game was released on Steam on August 6, with PC sales exceeding 500,000 copies.
Set in Japan around the turn of the millennium, the game has players running an electronics repair shop. They accept customer requests, disassemble, clean, solder, repaint, and reassemble devices, while managing the shop's finances and sourcing and buying parts.
Repairable devices include mobile phones, game consoles, handhelds, virtual pets, home appliances, music players, and cameras. The game also features licensed consoles such as the Atari 2600 and Jaguar; when purchasing parts, players can use an in-game browser with a retro web style.
Beyond repairs, players will hear the unique stories of each customer, with their choices impacting customers' lives, shop development, and branching narratives. The specific release date and price for the Android version have not yet been announced.
