Simon Collins-Laflamme, founder of Hypixel Studios, announced the bonus rules for Hytale's Spellbreaker Edition: For each new chapter released during the Early Access phase as the game progresses toward version 1.0, owners will receive a copy of the Standard Edition that can be gifted to friends and family. Chapter 1 is scheduled for release on October 12, at which point the first copy will be distributed.
Collins-Laflamme stated that upgrading an existing account to the Spellbreaker tier during Chapter 1 will also grant the corresponding bonus items. The Spellbreaker Edition is priced at $83.99, the Standard Edition at $24.99, and the Supporter Bundle at $41.99.
The total number of gifts depends on the actual number of chapters released before version 1.0. Collins-Laflamme gave an example, stating that if six chapters are released by then, Spellbreaker Edition owners will receive six additional Standard Edition copies; the six chapters are just an example and not the confirmed total number of chapters.
Chapter 1 is expected to add the Goblin faction, dungeons, and special raid bosses, along with rocket boots, gliders, grappling hooks, combat runes, and adjustments to player models and world visuals. The team is also preparing future updates, focusing on crafting and leisure content, combat and equipment, dungeons, and bosses. Collins-Laflamme previously reminded players that the game still needs time to be polished.
