Developers of World of Warcraft: Infinite stated that future updates will continue to provide content suitable for characters of various levels, including zones and dungeons for leveling alts. The game aims to encourage players to develop multiple characters on the same account; these updates will not raise the level cap, and many new zones and mechanics will be designed for characters going through the leveling process again.
The game's "Legacy" system awards points based on major account achievements, which players can invest in a dedicated talent tree. Leveling additional characters also helps accumulate these points, linking alt progression to overall account progress.
The developers believe that lower-level characters make it easier for players to experience content with friends who are new to the game. Future additions of zones, dungeons, and quests will provide gameplay paths for these characters. The development team also discussed plans to add class-specific items.
As for convenience features like account-wide shared banks, the team is still considering borrowing mechanics from existing versions and has not yet confirmed their inclusion.
